the actual rules section in these books is minimal. [...] is way too much to pay for some cutouts and a bunch of fluff that I already have from other warhammer books. I`ll be skipping the faith box set.

I think this is the best expansion for WFRP so far. Tons of new magic action cards to round out all of the spell colleges to Rank 3. The two books are full of fluff and there`s a lot of great new optional rules to enhance spell-casting. The Book of Change, for the GM, has all of the standard Tzeentch bad guys, including some truly awesome adversaries. The new mutation rules and cards are a nice, simple addition to the core mechanics and allows a wealth of interesting possibilities. The included adventure is OK, and makes use of a lot of the new material presented in this expansion. New location and item cards are really nice too.

Lots of great new stuff in this expansion. The main part of this expansion is to add new careers, plenty of magic related goodness, and expand the game out to include 3 ranks for each of the colleges of magic. The book goes into at least basic detail on some of the other options for magic like Dwarven Runes and Orc Waaagh! magic. There are expanded rules for magic,including rules for wands, staffs and other Wizardly type devices.
The expansion also features an introduction to the chaos god Tzeentch and provides details on various chaos mutations & corruptions. The adventure at the end of the Liber Mutatis is pretty good. Lots of opportunities for sneaking around and investigation. There is a little bit of fighting as well, but much of it can be avoided in favor of other options.
Overall, this is one of the best supplements I have picked up for wfrp v3 to date. Highly recommended.
